I’ve just polished off my cod, chips and curry sauce, so while it’s fresh in my mind, here’s my review. Before ordering, I spotted a few recent negative reviews online, but I wasn’t put off because my dad’s had it from here before and said it was good. And you always know you’re in a proper chippy when they put that bit of plastic between the fish and the paper so the batter doesn’t stick and tear off — that’s a win straight away. There were plenty of chips and a good-sized piece of fish. I ate about 95% of it, and the dogs were more than happy with the rest. Inside was lovely and clean, and the ladies behind the counter were polite and up for a chat. Go try it yourself and then leave your own review — it’s a lot better than the last few ratings make it look.

Best chip shop in town by a mile, lovely clean shop, amazing staff very polite and friendly girls. Fish is perfectly cooked and crisp food absolutely delicious. Been in today and after today’s visit I will definitely be coming here again and again.

Just moved to Hereford and been to this Chip Shop tonight. Little apprehensive to go at first due to reviews but thought I’d give it a try..Personally can’t fault it, Chips, Fish and sausage were spot on and staff friendly - to be fair they were a good laugh….! See you next Wednesday….! Daz.
